I found time to get on the water today and sample some of the action I had been hearing about. The water temp has been warming up a bit this month to a healthy 24 degrees and still climbing. As I get to keep the recapture records for the faust Dam Fish Stocking Assoc. I can let you know that this week I have had reports of numerous catches including the metre plus ones, the biggest at 111cm.
Today I only seen 4 Barra in my mornings fishing, mostly around the 80 to 90cm range, although I landed none I did manage to donate more tackle to the big pond of water.
I hope this helps anyone out that is thinking of heading this way soon.
