Hey guys, just back from a week at north straddie. The weather was typical straddie, beautiful one day etc but the fish were few and far between. I got one decent tailor on sun 29th down the beach near the causeway (about 2kg) and a few whiting and dart but had to work pretty hard for them. Watched a bloke battle a big shovelnose for about half an hour but this was the most action we saw all week (I must admit we spent more time surfing and drinking than fishing but there you go)
