Went out about 4.30 through Currumbin bar - which is in reasonable condition and sat out at the reef for about an hour before the dreaded seasickness forced an early return.

We got the Cod you see here, four chopper tailor, some white trevally and we put a hook in the back of one of those tailor which promptly got smashed by something that put the line into the reef in about 5 seconds flat. Mite have been a cobia?

It all felt very fishy - if the wind hadn't made the conditions so rough I think we would have been in for a good day... One very busy hour :-
