Fished Curtain Artifical reef last Saturday night. Had a bit of scueess before about 2am when the grinners moved in. Managed a few squire and one small sweet lip. Got a couple of small whalers up to the boat (biggest just over 100 cm). Had plenty of scorching runs which ended up in break offs and where probably bigger sharks from the way that they took off.
Planning a camping trip to Mission Pt at Bribie this weekend. Anyone know any decent spots around there. Wouldn't mind a feed of whiting!

Mission point is a good flathead and whitting spot from my experiences. Just across from the camp is a little sand bank with yabbies which are the gun bait for whitting up there. There are also hardy heads near mission pt. Fish the area just infront of the camp inline with the little island as there is a nice bottom formation with a good drop off there and you should get a few if the conditions are right. There will also be a few moses perch/jacks/bream up along the pummistone heading back to the south.
