went out 6am for early session with big_george and darren from bourke, flicked lures for a while , no hits (water was pumping to hard) decided to troll and i scored a 51cm cod and released him , then the wind blew up so we called it quits. went out at 3pm down stream , same crew plus little_george and my brother-in-law(in two boats) brother-in-law landed the first a 52cm and in the excitment lost my bogas over the side .. i got the next fish , a 49cm cod approx 2.5kgs on large stumpjumper red/black. that was it for us and the other chaps didn't see a scale

on ya swano have u tried the bassking spinner baits yet ,the cod where you live are much paler than up here, i will put the pic of the 1 i got the other day as soon as i get it developed keep on fishing
