Coomera "Jacks" Conquered
This is dedicated to 'Skales' & 'Pockets'
On a windy/chilly Sat' night, my son and son-inlaw hit the Coomera again for the third time this week. Jack hunting.
Skales, Pockets and myself have been chasing the elusive Jack in this area for sometimes and not to successfully.
Well fellas sat nite was the go, shit conditions and on a ebb tide, we tried a few places before hitting the hole at the green and the rock wall.
Using herring, we had a few serious bust offs, before Andrew who gets excited even to catch a fish, was quietly having a Stub', when his line went ballistic and the who needs expensive gear was put to the test, a ####### special with a jupiter reel ?, brough in a 3kg of agro Jack at the green (you no the one skales).
By 10pm bottom of tide, everything quite, moved to the rock wall, few below average bream, then whamo i was on (security boat pulled up checking out the excitement) and soon after a 2kg Jack came aboard.
By the way skales, not one vermin for the nite and no weird dick looking thing, like out trip.
Eat your heart out fellas (Skales & Pockets).
regards

Hi, Late reply mate, There were still a few boats around, mainly in the nth arm, we went for a run down to tipplers sat arvo and on the way back the bait were going balistic around jewel ck, dont know what was under them, so cameron when up front with the cast net and we landed a heap, nearly lost him overboard, as no bow rail at the mom, by the way hows she coming on will call you this week regarding it. sorry didnt call ya, but though with the conditions, to my susprise it was fairly flat down there, the trip to tipplers was fairly rough.
anyway next time mate.
Sorry to say but Pockets and I are one up on ya now
Call ya soon
