Long time lurker/ First time poster on this forum.

Spent Friday morning (4.30am to 7.30am) shore based in front of Decker Park. Tons of mozzies!!

Bait - Mullet strips, Prawns (frozen) and chicken gut.

Managed to catch 2 undersized whiting, 2 very small (key ring sized) bream, a nice flathead (40 cm - taken right on dawn).
My partner in crime managed 3 chopper tailor. He soon worked out they wanted a moving bait and ganged hooks and after a couple of cut offs was having a ball with them.

All fish returned.

Many thanks to the other posters here for their berley mixes....... Tried one recipe out and it worked a treat. Apart from the toadies there were a lot of gar interested in the mix.

Great forum and thanks for the info.
