Rocky - Fitzroy River

Managed to throw a few lures around Wed arvo in the town stretch of the Fitzroy. Didn't hold much hope - water was still very fresh. Flogged the water to foam in a few places. Not even any bait moving. Realised how fresh it was when 2 freshwater turtles popped up at my feet. Gave it away as a bad joke.

sorry just had to say that... i live around here and i know how bad the river is at the moment... i haven't seen anyone out there in months.

probably won't be fishable for another 2 months..
