    Mud island (white caps)

    Hello all,

Just a quick report on the weekends fishing at mud.
Touchy and I headed out from whyte island on friday at 12pm, I've never launched from there before, webby recommended it so we gave it a go. The trip to mud is approx 11 km's , as this was our 2nd trip to mud a fair bit of time once we got there was just exploring around with a few gps points we had and a top spot given to us by luck phil ( top spot you secrets safe with us hehehe)
The wind never stopped all weekend (15-20) and only got worse on sat and a wind warining was issued for the sun.

Despite all this we scored a couple of great bream, touchy got a 40cm one and i pulled in a 38 cm one ( beaten by the old guy again heheh)

Also a sole, flathead and a couple of squire were caught. The green death (green ginger wine) also was consumed at frequent rate which keept are warm, don't leave home without it.

We got a feed and the most inportant part was, i got out of the yard work yet again heheheh

Thanks for a top trip touchy

Webby, can you bring better weather with you next time , and I'd love to follow you over next time with better weather lucky phil.
