    sevens reef 10/5

Anchoured up on the sevens reef, ne of flatrock at approx 6.30am. dropped a bait in, which resulted in a fish taking the bait on the way down. Fight lasted 4 or 5 minutes for a bust off. All of a sudden was surrounded by boats driffting the area.

Lifted up the pick and moved to middle reef for a good feed of sqiure and parrot.

    largest squire went 56cm...

the swell dropped out, with an occasional one at 3/4m......still enough for my 1st time offsider to go a little green and hang over the side

looking real promising for winter snapper ...... i can see some over nighters at the close reefs off moreton and the coffee rocks ahead

we pulled up a lot of 34cm squire and only about 2 smaller ones...if we had a day like this six months ago we could have easily grabbed our bag limit...may be the size limits are working already.... ???
