Minnie waters report
gday people
went out fishin out from minnie yesturday with the old man, caught 5 legal snapper best went 57cm, about 20 or so pearl perch upto 37cm...kept the best of the bunch to have our limit of 5 each, 9 venus tusk fish, 1 morwong 2 hussar and a few odds and sods. also got busted up by 2 big snapper...probably about 5kg each...most people only caught a handful of fish that we talked to at the ramp...
we never even had a sniff of gettin any slimies or yakkas...usually get heaps ??? ???.
all up brought back 32 fish...released plenty of just legal fish just kept the bigger fish. also got a big bonnie about 5kg+.
also the last time we went out a fortnight ago, we got about the same number of fish. but they were mostly snapper, out limit....
btw. all the snapper were in close both trips.
goin back out tomorrow report on that trip tomorrow night.
cheers

gday
not were i was!!!!
bein a few miles out to sea helps abit...anyway up the creeks it does get pretty bad...or if your on the beach...in fact on the land yes out to sea no..the melaleuca swamps are covered in water and id say the mozzies and sandflies are having a ball...and any little fish that feed on em...but still there is a mile of water on the swamps and will be for a while...hopefully when the water warms up and i go chasing jacks theyve dropped in numbers...if they havent > > not happy jan!!!
cheers
