Well yesterday at 8 am we headed out from the boat ramp at Kirkliegh...our aim was to better my fishing partner, Luke's PB Bass(which was only 37cm if my memory is correct )

First up we started to fish the edges with spinnerbaits. This produced a 49cm yella for luke. Not to bad a start. After working that bank pretty well we headed out on to Queen St where we found what we were after,schools of fish.

First drift Luke hooked into a nice bass of 45cm(FL) on a slider. New PB for Luke. Despite all the good showings on the legend the fish just didn't wanna play the game. I got a few taps on fly that was about it.

After a well earned lunch break we head back out on to Queen St for a bit then decide to go back to SB's...This was a smart move...we finished Luke's day of with a 50cm Bass(FL). Bettering his PB once again. To say he was a happy chappy was an understatement. Big Bass from shallow water...what fishing is all about

I still hadn't got a fish...but a little further up that bank i pulled a 50cm Yella...top way to cap off a good day... [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
