    Amity Bream

what a perfect night Monday was to be on the water after that Northwester died at dusk.

Fished the run in at the amity rock wall late Monday night into Tuesday morning. Using mullet strips as bait held off the barb of a 3/0 7766 with a bonito cube "stinger", weighted with a size 0 split shot just above the hook (tide was only a small one).

Caught 23 fish in 1.5 hours keeping just over a dozen that were MY "legal size" (30cm). Ran out of bait.
The quality of the fish was outstanding, only caught 4 undersize (but you get that using a larger hook). There were no corkers just consistent foot long bream.

I haven't done a dedicated bream session for a while - what a hoot, didn't have time to shiver. I'll post a pic when I can figure how to reduce the file size.
