fished noosa sound today. Trolling tilsan bass lures in perch colour.caught 2 mangrove jacks; 2small flathead;1 trevally.all released to fight another day.

just back from noosa today, went trawling with a mate at 0600 got 45kg of bait prawns right in front of johns,gotta be some fish left if the prawns are still around.

Iwas trolling in my 4.3 tinny with a 50 4/stroke.trolling very slowly,
with the lures well back.there was no fish on the sounder,i concentrated on the structure of the bottom.Where i new fish would hold.

When i was up at johnnos the other day we were gettin a few small ones in the cast net but the trawlers were cleaning up by the looks of it,

normally their spanner crabbing now but there are still enough prawns around to keep them fishing in the river.most boats were getting 40-80kg and home by 10 .
its just about over now though

Hi all
went back up to noosa today.nailed a 51 cm , 2.4 kg jack.Using a manns stretch 10 plus, in grey ghost colour. Jezz they pull hard.got blown away by something bigger though.
