    Bribie 7.9.03

    Went out for the first time in 9 months. Took a mate out Prof Mick to get his first longtail (prior to this his biggest fish was a 40cm bream).

    Went up to the lagoons - no surface action, but picked a 12 kg LT on a live bait.

    Prof Mick was stoked..

    hey george
    mate its bad enough havin to look at the profs sideburns at work all day without you putting em on ausfish .Mind you now he has caught one if i ask him next week he will have a formula for the 100% hook up rate catching LTs.It will be something like,wind direction + water temp - 1\4 of the troll speed over ground ^2\3 the weight of the live bait = the total velocity of the flux capacitor.
    Thanks for reminding me i havent seen that austin powers movie yet 8) 8)
    I cant believe after all this time youve actually gone out.Have to call you and line up a date .
    So tell us,did the prof release the fish or is he at home dicecting it on his mums ironing board.
