    wide cal sunday

    G'day all,
Left Mooloolaba boatramp at 3am Sunday morning. Headed out through the entance, which by the way has been dredged. Headed into a 1.5m easterly swell and the pouring rain 20kms out the swell picked up to 2.5 to 3m on the bigger sets. Plenty of fish life on the sounder, but the fish just werent playing the game. Fishing was very uncomfortable ended up with 2 snapper, 3 parrot, 1 pearly , 1 moses perch and 1 samson fish. pulled the pin at 12 noon to surf the waves home. Pretty rough and disappointing trip, but theres always next week.

it was rough earlier on it did get a little better in the afternoon i fished south of the blinker trying to catch a sail but they werent playing the game i didn't even see a jumper or boat hooked up and there was about 8 game boats trying and 77 was very quite!
so i sent a livey to the bottom near some bait got a stonker grassy on a 10 inch slimey mackerel, got a few other hits but they where little stuff unable to eat a 10/0 bridled to a slimey- so yeah dissapointing as it look great on the sounder- had one of the green members of the crew burleying up once we started drifting, gee that dont look like fun that seasickness thing!
