Fished duck creek two days back on the incomming/top of the tide with yabbies and squid.
Catch .....
one ray
one four foot shovel nose. (caught on a 2-4kg shimano bait caster, 2kg line )
both on the yabbies

Fished the Pin - Kalinga Bank and behind the bar this morning (Tuesday)
Result - one barely legal tailor. No other bites at all.
It is like Queen Street on Christmas Eve down there at the moment. Tiger Mullet Channel was crammed with sleeping boats. No point in drifting along Kalinga Bank unless you like slalom drifting.
Can't wait for the weather to settle down so I can hunt for some spotties out on the Bay. The Pin is too crowded this week.
