we figured the dorsal gave it away, as it was bright blue when we lifted it up. Also behind the Pectrol was almost black, very dark. And the tail being very thick/wide as opposed to thin and pointy.

Yes, we all called it Spanish once in the boat. I really believe it's a half bredd sucker thing, mutant thing.....?
