Green Island Sat 10/1/04
Took the weather bureau at their word about 10 - 15kts winds abating over night and went to Green Island east 7pm - 1.30am.
The weather bureau lied!
Quite breezy all night with lots of slop/surf.
You can all rest assured that there are no longer any catfish in the bay. I caught them all last night plus heaps of slightly undersize squire. Net score for the night was one barely legal grass sweetlip.
I normally fish with three rods but went back to using just one because I was spending too much time taking catfish off each line.
Bait was pilchards, squid and prawns - all frozen. Was cut off on the reef a few times.
