    lota/Tingalpa ck whiting

had about an hour to kill today and fished at the mouth of lota and tingalpa creeks in the hope of some whiting.
Got some yabbies and raced out as the tide was already starting to turn and would probably only get 40 mins before i ended up swimming home.

ended up with 4 nice summer whiting with the best being 31 and 30 cm long

also i caught a nice sandie on my rod which dropped off just before i got it up and in murky water i put my hand in for a quick lucky dip and managed to snatch at the crab and throw it up on the bank. measured 16 cm accross the carapace on the old scale.

Anwyas not bad for a hour worth of fishing

Well done Dylan - might be down that way Saturday morning (7.30 am low tide) with the yabby pump and rod trying the same thing.

    Cheers
