Had some problems with T&T myself on an old 135 hp Johno in the past.
The bloke from Caboolture Sea/Land Marine, I think his name is, helped me with fault finding and a kit.
For leader the old faithful schneider is good stuff and well priced for a decent sized spool too, I use 40 and 60 lb.
After reading your report I was sure there must have been a banana on board somewhere lol.

Have had a fair bit to do with hydraulics in the past and with cylinders especialy. First thing i would be checking is the oil level which i am sure you have already done.
The next thing is the pump is it running? do you have pressure?
The only other thing after this is the cylinders, Not sure how many you have on your Yammy but i just checked ours and it has three. I doubt that all the cylinders would crap out at the same time.

sorry to hear day wasnt so good. Saw the trailer at the ramp yesterday.
Fibre-glass and I went out the DT,and caught a few.(See my posting).
I would love to get out with you next weekend (Anzac Day Weekend) Saturday,Sunday,or Monday.
I have already some X-strong ganged hooks I've made up for you to try,and have some soft but strong leader that you can also try (Black Magic 60lb) Maybe this leader will suit you ?
Of course I am willing to pay my way as usual. I would love to be put onto some bigger snapper if possible
Surprisingly,the fish we caught yesterday,all seemed rather lethargic,with just a little fight at the beggining,one or 2 runs,and then just swam up as fast as i could wind.

thats a bad day on water, i use penn10x 60 it seems o.k, tried to call you but 27 meg stuck on 88 this is the 2nd one to do this. anyway a bad days fishing you know how it goes lee

i recently had prob with my relays..the motor would go up but not back down...
found out it was the relays...you can try this by swopping them around....

any way couldnt undo the bolt behind the trim motor >
so i bashed it with a piece of wood > and put back together and was going to book the boat in for repairs when i tried the t & t and to my surprise the trim worked ???
so i have tried it about 30 times now and still working
so its off fishing tomorrow with fingers crossed
