went to jacob well sat& sun for prawn fun.ended up with about 3 kg each day for lot of hard work, evenYRC scurge found then light on.no YRC at all on sun.found occasional 1 & 2 in shallow on drop off's on bottom but they were quality size though.the weather was great (despite BOM forcast of 15-20 in morning).report of even less in logan and out front of logan, they must be somewhere.does any one have any reason why so few so sudden (cold snap, tides, moon ect).last weekend they were in great numbers schooled up and all week according to one person.never seen them jump ON to house boats befor,as if something chasing them.mabey next weekend when tides are low in morning, depending on fish reports.could do with some snapper for dinner as getting low on mackeral stocks in freezer. would appreciate any reports around inner bay islands as am not sure what is around this time of year.
