A VERY COOOOOLLLLDDDDD TRIP
Hi All,
Well just arrived back to sunny and warm Qld after spending 1 week at Milbrook Lakes in Vic near Ballarat close to a little town called Gordon. What a great spot except for the cold fished between 1 and 3 degrees on most mornings and even with an undershirt, T shirt, longsleeved fishing shirt footy guernsy and 2 jumpers plus waders still froze my goolies off, gotta say though what a great trip caught plenty of fish mine were only small going from about 1.5 lbs up tp 3 lbs although my mate from WA caught a couple around 5.25 lbs, the biggest fish of the trip went around 8 lbs. Caught most of the fish on stick cadis and midge flies although got one on a black and yellow wooly bugger, used a 6 weight rod with floating line.
