    Gold Coast 30th

    gaday all.

had to get the wife's arms stretched today, was going to go to palmy but tooo rough for the wife. went to 1 mile, the macks were going nuts managed 1 on a slug couple Kg's nothing great but first blood.then headed to marks on the 24's bottom bashed for a few red rock cod, that put the wife on the runs board. was getting pretty ordinary out there so a troll to narrow neck atty, met Ray there no fish here ether, troll back to scotish prince droped a livey and a pilly. wife with the livey , she tells me she has the plug so i move the boat back to unhook the snag, im heavin on the rod but the snag was having other ideas, so abit of heaving and the snag was given to the wife to fight, while 5 minites isn't long to fight a fish the wife was getting tired, but she kept up the fight to bring a 10-12 kg wabby to the surface thought it was a big flathead at first but wabby it was, her biggest capture yet, photo and freedom for the wabby and sore arms for the missus, topped off the morning.

G/day jamie it was good to catch up with you today seems we also ran into those macks and had a double strike in the middle of one of their surfaces they were very spooky and would dive deep and surface again hundreds of metres away. We only ended up with one also but you get that didnt bother bottom bashin as it was gettin a bit bumpy mid morning. I picked up a wobbygong the other day at mud and it was twice the size of the one your wife is holding, tell her to watch their teeth, will catch up again soon mate.P.S here a pic of the crew and his first mack !
