Hi All,
Not as bad as it sounds, myself and Randall Gilbert went for a fish for a couple of hours up a little creek I had not fished for sometime up Bribie way this little creek had plenty of Jack in it a couple of years ago so decided to go see how it fished in winter. We ended up with 22 fish for the mornings fish mainly Bream and Flathead with a few Pike thrown in all were released and caught on either Fly or softplastic the largest fish for the day was a 56cm Flattie followed by a 30 cm Bream both caught by Randall, like I said nothing of any huge proportions but plenty of numbers there. On the water at 6:45 am home boat washed and in the garage by 1:30pm only hope it can fire up with some Jack like it used to, roll on summer.

We did a Club trip up there on Saturday morning led by Mick Dohnt who fishes those waters alot and knows his way around. We had 6 anglers in 4 boats and all fish were tagged and released. Don't know the full tally, but there would have been half a doz flathead or more caught on SPs and bait - biggest 53 cm. Also 30-40 bream and grunter caught on bait and also an 83 cm jew caught by Mick which was also tagged and released. Enjoyable mornings fishing, but alot of ribbon and snot weed around which was a pain at times.
