Shocker at the pin!

gaday all.
took my daughter fishing saturday,with the new tow vehical and all.
weather was good enough little wind not too cold.
gets to ramp at 6ish to become Number 23 in line for the ramp. anyway they need to put up ramp etiquette signs for the bumb asses that freequent the ramps on a good day.
three lane ramp blocked by 2 wallys 1 after the other , it was like watching dumb and dumber. no common sence what so ever, why cant these people move away from the concrete ramp to hold the boat while waiting for hubby or mate to get back from parking the car.
anyway after launching the boat down to the pin to prospect for up coming comp. set up daughter with bait and me with rubbers and hard body's.
tried everthing anchoring, trolling and drifting. pulled the pin at 10:30 with 1 just legal flatty for the daughter.
tuff day but there where people happy with catching the millions of throwbacks,( baby bream)
back to dumb and dumber at the ramp all over again
i think the netters are in the pin area again. brother of a mate was down the pin mid week on dusk and 2 guys where netting the northern face of cruso island. >
think the pin area has seen better days as far as i can see, haven't been there for a couple months and the catch rate has gone down outa sight, even from a couple weekends ago.
buddy was fishing near swan bay last weekend and thisweekend and he never got a thing this time and got just a couple last trip.
mite have to start looking farther afield for decent fish.

Bugger... that sucks.

Good thing i spent the day under the bonnet of a shagged VS Commodore then i spose... poor boat hasn't seen bloody water now for 3 weeks. I'm gonna have to drag the old girl out. I might hit the river after work some time.

the dumb netters will probably give up a couple of years after there is nothing left and wonder why .then blame the cane farmers,the ammatures,the politicians, elninyo or anyone else except them selfs.but yes , the place was packed on weekend.do you know what sort of comp it was.the annual flathead comp cant be far of.
