No flake in the freezer so headed out to Rous from Manly at 6.30 hoping to pull a few shovellies at slack water. No sooner arrived than wind must've started blowing 20 so turned and headed for the shelter of St Helena.
1hrs fishing (7 of us) produced one shovelly going 75 cm, 2 grunters and 2 grinners :-( Wind eased so set off for Mud.
Fished West for an hour pulling 2 more grinners, several undersize squire, a big wobby and 2 keepable whiting (never caught them over coral before?). Wind turned and blew again so headed for east side which produced not a bite in 45 minutes :-(
