What does a bloke have to do to get over this predicament
    Brownies weather report last nite
“One wind will cancel the other”
no .. I’m not a great believer in his weather reports
But how could they get it so WRONG

Arrived at the ramp with about 10kts and steady increased ????
Deep tempest was rough and blowing a good 15 kts and higher ..
Tried deep, shallow, wreck, anchor, drift was quick
What I’m trying to say is that it was sh**thouse all day.
Well I had to persuade my crew, not to throw me overboard
    thanks to firetruck and razza.

at one stag we watched peterbo3 catch a good snappa, cut its throat and then over the side of the boat and RELEASE it.????
peter i dont think they live long that way

    Peter ,
Thanks for the Info on your returm PM .
After a final look at the weather Saturday night Reel-Job & the Searaider 2 , thought we would have a crack at the original plan & try & sneak out to the Banks .
When we were about 15 k out at about 4.30 am , it was blowing easily 15 k SW & probably more .
Pulled the pin & headed to Coolum , fished the dawn session , no fish , nothing showing on the sounder . Decided to try Sunshine Reef , then out to Chardons .
End result , NO Fish , nack all showing on the sounder at any of the reefs .
Never been up to Chardons before , its a fair old run back to Mooloolaba when its blowing somthing like 20 k + S/SW .

Saw Zeeke & give him a wave just inside the enterance as he was heading out . Then after putting the boat back on the trailer , a car pulled up & the driver said gidday . It was Jeffo , said he was out Saturday chasing his beakies & also got nack all .

Things can only improve . [smiley=huh2.gif]
