rainbow beach / Double island

Hi Folks

Just a query ~ does anyone have any upto date information on rainbow beach / double island, we're planning to go this weekend
1. is the four wheel drive track over the rocks exposed or is there sand over the rocks
2. any fishing reports??
3. any spot xxx's for good fishing?
4. are small dogs allowed at Double island point?

Any assistance would be good

A recent post had a link to Rainbow beach hotel fishing club with updates on the rocks and fishing. The RACQ at Rainbow will tell you the conditions. The caravan park at Rainbow used to allow dogs out of schoolholidays. Not sure if they still do.

The Leisha track from the eastern beach is very soft due to lack of rain. Low tyre pressures are the go ( 15lbs ).

The Rocks at Rainbow are exposed at low tide, so travel from Rainbow to Double Island point is on.

As stated, ring the Pub, if in doubt, or Rainbow Tackle.

Dogs at Double Island mmmmmm ! I don;t like the critters anyway, so I'll say NO. ??? Best chack with Noosa Shire Council, Cooloola Shire Council.
