well on the forecast thought i would give temest a go. left ramp 4.15 & headed to the cape a good run over then around yellow patch i heard a banging noise & at the same time sounder was not showing anything. put hand bown transducer broken away from bracket . anyway contine on . but after 2 hours of not knowing what we were fishing on & current that was roaring we headed home. top run home 30 mph all the way.
p.s no worries that was me in the c/craft

Hi lee,you should have come over and and had a quick chat.
The fishing was tough but the size ,excellent and all full of those little crabs they feed on this time of year, probably why you had to entice them a bit yesterday, cheers no worries
you are spoiled by going to double island..
i may be spoiled also once i start getting the cat to d/i ..
who said fishing was enjoyable .. tempest is never easy
but you do get some trips were every thing comes together
Hi mad keen, sorry i don't know, just damned small little rock crabs from the look of them.
They are always full of them this time of year.
There's probably plenty of cover for them to hide on the bottom of tempest with all my 10 balls littering the bottom of it,another 5 after saturday, cheers no worries
