another pic of some of the catch. 8)
left mooloolaba at 4 am in perfect conditions. we chased some AJs before first light but only managed bust offs. there was no current at all so i talked the boys into fishing the 130 line. as it turned out we made the right decision and were rewarded with some of the most aggresive snapper ive ever encounted. they were just slaming the baits every drop well from the bottom. all the fish were of a small to medium size but the larger ones fought more like a fish twice the size. they stoped biting around 9 so we chased up a few legal pearlies and called it a day. howed everyone else go?

cape moreton sunday. left ramp 4am for the cape, perfect conditions ( keen as) no run, no fun. sat on the pick & burlyed our eyes shut, 1 squire total. pillies & baits drifting down alongside boat, no result. left early, 4xxx calling. [smiley=wut.gif]
snappa hardly ever use the winches only seem to put them out during the night with 16o circle hooks when everyone has a sleep. sometimes they surprise you . its much more fun with rods.
spiro you caught me off guard leaving on saturday give me a ring next time and we'll catch up, ihope that storm didnt get you out there!
