had plans for saturday but sign writer had to do my new ute.
shit happens then had ideas for a nite trip to peel. 20+ fixed that idea.
so thought id take the wife for a bass fish in hinze dam, in some stupid attempt to get away from the wind.
not much wind at first but didnt take long for the wind to find us .
was a pretty tuff fish too. sweet FA on the sounder all day, just 1 here and 1 there. no schooling fish to be had.
time to teach the wife the finer points to rubber thingies, and not the 1's for the john thomas.
took her a little while but she had a play with them on the surface and worked out how they wiggle when she wobbled the rod this way and that.
the usual thing happens doesn't it she gets the only fish for the day at around 40+ cm.any way try a new dam next time.
Gota get a bow mount electric bloody hard to fish Hinze with a tiller steer and wind.
