    I GOT MY DOLLIE !!! ... wanted one for years and i finally got one <well more than one>

    That Yellow fin was the first fish i hav caught on something other than bait ... Was interesting. Im just curious wat was at the end of the line on the 2nd one i hooked ...

    brook you should copy that, the current was too strong for berley, there will be a feature sometime soon I bet

    michael, amity was good but we crossed when the tide had peaked, does it get any better...the way the water moves around that area as the tides change makes it a different bar all the time, basically the same but never the same is about right. at low the extent of the bank was clear and by reading the water a couple of shortcuts could be taken with ample depth for smaller rigs.

    red i think another ausfisher is doing the course that day.

    i am doing the bar crossing course on sunday the 24th october. im really looking forward to it. from what bill was telling me it is a really great day and you learn heaps. hope the weather plays the part for you.

    U got that right SeaHunt.

    The day I did mine it would of blown a dog off his lead, but what a learning curve. Bill's a good bloke you'll learn heaps, and be in safe hands. (no matter what the conditions are)

    BTW, that Cruisey isn't a bad boat too, I'd almost swap my Haines for it
