Hi Bigal,
Sounds like you fish the Tweed a bit and know the place.
I'll be heading down to the Tweed in late November to do a little houseboating for a week. I'll most likely hang around the upper reaches of the Tweed.
Do you have any knowledge of this area and could you give me some ideas where to drop a line thanks?
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Regards,
Giagntor

live bait round the tumbulgum bridge and cruise upto the suggar mill if ya can and float out livies. fish the grass island on ur way to the suggar mill (when u see it u will know what i mean) withe beach worms and yabbies for good whiting. that sahould see ya catch a feed.
hey BIGAL
I am from the tweed area myself and was wondering where you can get some live prawns from. If you can just point me in the right direction that would be great. PM me if you want. You don't have to give me spot x's just a general idea of the areas
.
thanks heaps
Rick
PS - do you fish outside much?
Hey,
I'm heading down to wooloolumba or mooloolumba or something like that soon. Is it worth fishing that far up the tweed? what sorts of fish are likely to be caught so i know what tackle to bring and what bait i should be getting?
Thanks, Sergio
Murwillumbah, Apparently Bass, Yes I think it is well worth a fish up there, I would head up to near the Clarrie hall dam. not that I have ever fished there...just what I have heard. Sean![]()
