    Re: straddy

Unusual to see seals this far north - especially armed ones! Did you manage to get the Dollie back off it?

Tell me you weren't swimming out at the WRB. I'm sure Greg didn't mean it when he said that the Vanuatu locals were crazier than you - you don't have to prove anything....really!

And it's not coral spawn - the missus grates the carrot on my sangas really really fine...

    Great haul as usual.

How did you pick up the Tuna? The chance of me going over the side spearing at the WRB would be zero minus a bit more.

    Re: straddy

Maybe take the speargun in one hand and 10/0 hook in the other....

    Re: straddy

Lmao you guys....nothing to be worried about. Had a great few minutes in the water at the rider buoy blowing dollies away. Visibilty was easily 15m. Seemed that they would come to investigate the splash I made every time I entered the water from the boat, thus presenting unbelievably easy shots. Only got a chance to shoot three. The school that was cruising around (about 15-20 fish) I think worked out that the splashing was of no interest, and thus went elsewhere. Anyway, great day out on the water....thanks Rob, and good to see you again Matt.

    Kind regards

There were quite a few patches of Watson's Bonito thrashing tiny baitfish coming off the banks in the Rainbow Channel, but they were quite shifty and dived everytime we got near enough for a shot with a fly or slug. Apart from that, nothing else - no longtails etc.

Nice shot! Only one rubber and still went through the fish. What sized rubber is it? Look out for that coral spawn, it had a bad habit of making certain areas of the body uncomfortably itchy. SCRATCH SCRATCH!!
