    Re: 8-13Knots .... What a load of ####

Mmmmm well twas a shite weekend to be, but nevertheless we got out amongst the white men in grey suits with Adam and Brent. Spewing to see that big one get popped off, but alas....headed out later that afternoon back into the mess with Kris (Sharkbait) to have another crack. We got absolutely drenched (again) and sat in the wind for 2 hours. Just as we were discussing the rum cans on the way home etc the sweet sounds of drag running was heard and a solid sharky hooked. 20 minutes later and a 12kg whaler came onboard presenting himself nicely for flake options.

Brian...no jaws too small mate . Pics to come.

Alex...lmao....errrrrrrr water visibility was crap in this weather [smiley=anxious.gif].

Things fishermen will do when the weather has been crap for so long.
Sounds like fun guys but i must say i was alittle disapointed to see Ben in the boat and not dressed up as seal with a spear gun in his hands

nice report ben but you forgot to mention the 30cm noahs and th catties seriously smallest sharks i have ever seen and with a 6/0 well down the gullet. Good fun though, but for the rain. The flake was not bad chewing either. We will have to organise a spearing trip, got a few ideas brewing....
