Evening all,

Well what a great day it was and thanks very much to Mr Mauler once again. Was unreal to nail a P.B dollie on light gear, and boy do my wrists know about it now (keep the comments tame please ). The power of those fish is just awesome and has to be seen to be believed for those who havn't caught one.

Me old mate Mark that came along for the ride was stoked with the day's efforts and had a ball out there. Seeing a mate who's not had much experience in fishing get out there and give it a go for good results was pleasing.

Thanks again Rob and Mark for a great day out in beatiful conditions.

yeh ROb , absolutely spewin ....
We had a double hook up on what i believe were spaniards as both got cut straight through the trace ....as we were scrambling to get them sorted ...and winding in slack ...the other rod just started howling ...and it took off skipping along the surface ...took 100 metres off me in a matter of seconds and just kept going ..pulled the hooks after about 5 minutes >
I'll get him next time !

lost 3 pakula's today ... 2 Uzis and and a cockroach ..along with 3 minnows and a few assorted cheapy skirts ...
thats what we get for playing silly business....my brother was set on getting a good yellowfin on his new stella with 6kg ...half the fish we hooked blew us apart
