Hey,
just wet a line down at the nerang canals for a few hours today. Picked up a nice whiting, flathead and a couple of bream. My mate latched onto a stingray with about 6 lb line and after a few minutes brought him onto the sand. It was greta fun watching him get flogged all over the place by this meduim sized stinger. A good day with cover from the wind.

Well done on the whiting. Your mate's shirt is pretty ordinary but would probably come in handy if you were prone to seasickness or for a big night on the drink.

Try trolling good deep diving lure alog those banks. Make sure you get the right lure depth and on sundown and you are gauranteed a jack in those canals.

The flathead was pretty small and went back. Only thing that was kept was the 1 whiting.
devocean, Thanks for that i'll give it a go next time we head down there. What kind of lure tho? a small halco scorpion?? what colors?
