    wednesday windy bribie

well after constantly checking wind speeds on monday and tuesday mornings which were both nice and with me old mate the weathermans promise of 10kn on wednesday morning things were lookin good for my day off BOUT BLOODY TIME.
so yesterday morning i was up before the crack of dawn,me boat had hitched itsself to the car and me favourite rod was in the front seat blowin the horn.it all seamed to good to be true and it was as i rounded skirmish point into a 15kn northerly and a run out tide struggling against it .
once me old mate the weather man got outta bed he musta seen it was windy to so he decided to change his forecast to 15-20 so that put a stop to my plan of heading out to hutchies for the morning.
i spent the morning jiging the channel markers and did manage a couple of schoolies and got two mac tuna on slugs that were working a mile or so NE of the M12.the wind did calm down a bit after prolly 0900 and the run in tide made travelling a lot better but with the 20kn forecast still on and knowing things would prolly get ugly with the lunch time change of tide i decided to spend some time sorting a few plotter tracks on the new gps and get home for a feed .
    cheers scott

Dam weather has been so annoying of late, good to see you got out and got a few though. Did u drop any / get bitten off , or was that 3 hits for 3 fish? (just curious as to how many are around).

    Nofrills,

Just what I wanted to see , planning to hit that m12 area this Saturday morning if the wind stays down around 10 knots

A couple of nice schoolies will do just fine

    Cheers

    sorry that did'nt read right

got 2 schoolies at the M1 and 1 at the NW12.
mack tuna were NE of the NW12.
    jas,
only dropped 1 which still has my favourite old jig attached to it.id used that jig for about the last 4 years and it had caught tons of schoolies.when i told the missus she said ''at least it went doing something that it loved''
