broadwater 20th&21st
Headed down to the coast on saturday hoping to go outside for the morning but the seaway looked a bit dodgie so stayed in the broady. Grabbed a few livies and got one hell of a surprise when the net came up! among the herring were the two queenies below both released worked around the area but failed to raise one on a hook >. Was pretty slow going for a while and after moving around a bit for no result headed back to where I started and bang seven flathead in seven casts they kept biting and ended up C&R 15 or more in the about 1 hr from 37cm up to 58cm. After that went to another spot dropped a livie straight under the boat as soon as it hits the bottom wham a nice tailor that released itself at the boat.
no other fish photos of today out by meself. Went down on sunday with the deckie and the flatty where still there had a ball for few hours in a couple of spots for 9 keepers and numerous released fish for over 20 in total and a couple of moses perch and trevally thrown in. Had an absolute ball and the deckie is now fully converted to the plastics.
Cheers

Re: broadwater 20th&21st
nice result for the day.
ive got an idea where you were!.
fished there myself along time ago and the crossover ( yellow) near there had resident jack on it that took my best flathead lure. 0.5sec smash all over.
