Very Hazey.
G/ day all, well all i can say is i hope thats my bad one over and done with. Started when the trailer came off the tow ball gotta luv safety chains, got to raby at 5.00 am no more probs headed out to a glassy bay with only one other boat to be seen thought my luck was turning for the better. It was then that i realised that all the sunscreen was in the ute and i was in for a bakin ! pushed on, got to the passage to face a washin machine with a huge tide pushin over the top of the swell not pretty.Decided to keep going got half way thru the first break when i went for the power and my heartstopped when the engine did the same ooohhh xxxx did a quick check on the normal stuff (breathers, fuel lines on etc)all ok so kicked her over no probs first pop, dropped her in gear hit the throttle and same thing. By this stage its getting a little spookyin the break zone with no power, kicked her over with no probs and this time i just eased a little power on and was able to get about 10 knts tops not that i was complaining so headed for the corner of amity and some still water checked all i could to no avail so had to motor home with tail between legs at about 8 to 10 knts i guess i was lucky that i had some power at all. So thats the one bad trip for the season, no fishing and now some problem solving think it must of picked up some shit in the fuel and has blocked the secondary jet, i know what im doing this week as they say ill be back next week .
CHEERS RAY PS heres a couple of pics of the bay on the way out .
Sounds like some one been cursing a bit today hay ray

Ray, sorry to hear about a bender mate! Hopes it'll be the last one for a long time. For future reference, you can stop in at Amity to pick up essentials that you've left behind....ice/sunscreen etc.
Regards
Ben

About 4 years ago I took a mate in his 16ft clark centre console for his first outing through the bar and east of the cathedrals and the exact same thing happened. After a while i knew there was some junk in the carby and 2 hours later i managed to richen the fuel mixture with different methods and we were able to just get on the plane and head home. While all this was happening my mate was over the side spewing his guts up. Top first outing for him.
Cheers Greg

Thats dispicable.
This little black duck would have had steam coming out his ears. 8)
I had a similar problem on mine too. But lucky I wasn't going through a bar at the time.
The engine was only running on one cylinder, which came down to an electrical problem. I could only run at 6 knots.
i am sayin that there is a bad batch of fuel up thet way. this is the second report of such engine behaviour.
