Yes Mark, Brooke seems to be in on the action. All I can say is, she must have a good teacher.
She spends minimal time on the water for great results, and apparently, some people around the traps spend a whole weekend out in the briney putting together a feed. Go Figure ! 8)
Yes, I am getting the place sussed, but with so many options in any weather, it'll take many more trips to make me a local.
Also, having taken the road trip to Woodgate, and noticing the small craft out on the arti, there, looks like another option just opened up.
Will post pics here about of boat ramp and sea, at Woodgate.
Cheers

OH, and there is a creek just north of Woodgate, called Theodolite Creek.
When the tide is in, there is good water ther, but when the tide was out ( as in this case ) it really goes out. But there is deeper channels around the place.
This boat ramp is made from sleepers chained together.
mmmmmmm and the locals use their 2 wd cars to launch tinnies from here.

Phil
Did you head down through the national park to Walkers Point
Very good concrete ramp down there launches into the burrum, short run to the mouth and then a nice little cruise upto the woodgate ramp
Cheers
Mark
went by beach from the Woodgate carpark, to round the corner on the Burrum. Took the track thru the NP back to Woodgate. Got told about Walkers Point upon return to Brisvegas.
Next time
