We both went different directions for the middle of the day but met up on the same spot in the afternoon. Jason pulled a big Gold Spot Cod right beside us.
Fished the Trench area Sunday for 2 Cobia, 2 Mahi Mahi in the esky, a tagged Mahi Mahi and Striped Tuna as well as jumping 2 Mahi Mahi off and numerous other strikes but none from Billfish. Also got one tail Wahooed early on. Soory for quality of pics. Most are from video or mobile phones.
Heard "Skirtchaser" on the radio yesterday. Thought they may have tagged a couple of bills but was unsure how they ended up? There were a few bills present a little wide of the trench yesterday but it was quiet in the trench itself (when we were there anyway). Saw another big boat working the area. Fish seem to be moving quite a bit at the moment.

what area were you catching them we had a go on saturday with no luck we were about 8 -10 mile NEE of mooloolaba and there was very little on the sounder.
Skirtchaser was 1 from 4 yesterday. Reel Crazy got 2 this morning and Men In Black with Channon and Jeffo (Phill) onboard got at least one. They had been running hot and have tagged about 7 the last week with 4 on Saturday out of about 10 seen. Action was south (Caloundra) early in the week but is now east and noreast of Mooloolaba.
