It certainly was a great start to the year.
Smithy the water was a great colour and there was no run at all which was a first we had seen out there. ball sinkers were going straight down and holding. There was bait around but mostly tuna. The spot we pulled the hoo and Rainbow runners always holds bait and it sure makes you wonder what is keeping these fish and bait on this spot all the time. water temp was over 27 deg out there and where we caught the reds it was 27.9 deg

No wonder the hoo was up on the surface a show that good there wouldn't of been any room down there for him
What a bonus the spanish were in the morning i don't think i've ever gotten so many so fast
Have now got a big bloody hole in the landing net where one of the buggers thaught he'd chew his way out!
