Mad if you don't use SP's

Having been a bait soaker all my fishing life, I have a new found success with Soft Plastics on Snapper. So successful, I wonder if any of us should give away our secrets, or there won't be any snapper left!! I guess that's why the bag limit of 5 pp.

3 out of 3 trips have yielded legal fish to 43cm, but I think it is only a matter of time before a 5+KG comes into the boat. Being new to SP's, I would love anyone to share a few tips on locations, so far I have only tried Harries - which everyone knows about anyhow. Oh, and I DO have a GPS if anyone is feeling that generous!!

Western side of Peel but stay out of the no fishing zone and the eastern side of Mud yeilds some good snapper at certain times.
Wellington Point Reef is also worth a few drifts.
    What plastics are you using?
Harry's gets hit hard and i find the quality smaller.....Give the Rouse a go on the slack water.
I like your topic heading but you do have slow fishing days as well as great days when fishing the soft plastics.
So far i have worked out the first quarter moon produces fish for me.
The plastics size and colour can also make the difference on a hard fishing day....you just have to experiment on the day.
