beacons
went over to the 4 beacons this morning hoping to have a fish but once again each beacon was occupied with about 4-5 boats.so than we headed over to mud for a fish dropped a few half pillies over only to get vermin(grinner).after using bait for a while i decided to get the plastics out and have a go. 2nd cast under size squire. about 3 out of 10 casts i either got hits or brought fish into the boat.i ended up gettin one alright sized squire around the 38cm and about 10 under size ones and a few baby sweetlip and quite a few grinner.all in all the plastics out fished the baits 10 to 1. saw some fish activity about 300m behind mud. we motored over there had a few casts but didnt hook up . what ever these fish were they were quite large with a big dorsol fin and there were a lot of them.started gettin a bit blowy so we decided to head home.not a very successful day but i had a ball with the plastics.

Scott ,
I think they call them dolphin , pretty much had the same day as you but less fish. Chased the Longtail for awhile with no luck , but hey it was a great day and i should have made the call to head out to the Cape next time.
