    Blues

Left going out through the Bar this mornin a little bit late to allow for the ron out tide to pull up a bit.
Once through the bar was confronted with the problem of gettin livies as the swell was breaking on the first two pillons of the pumping jetty were I get my Livies . Just had to pick inbetween set race in get a couple a duck out again when the sets came ,This method of gettin Lives no recomended to the faint hearted
Anchored up Near SpaniardKing and put out two Livies . Water temp was up and water was as clear as.Wasn't long got my first hit and managed a 43lb Blue .Was a good morning for Me and managed another two smaller Blues as well

    Re: Blues

Top results there willo , you may not have spaniard kings title but you sure have the consistency on the big blues. That jetty is great for livies, but drives me nuts some days .. the swell there can be a real pain.

Hopefully it will be a good season for them, soon as we get some good weather for a few weeks we can find out!

    Re: Blues

    Yeah Jason
I think it's a bit shallower at the front of the jetty this year,Swell seems to break there at low tide with anything over 1.5 mtrs. Was pumping on the weekend . Not bad if theres two of ya in the boat but hard trying to catch bait and keep an eye out for the sets at the same time If ya one up in the boat. The size of the lives has also been good lately.Tailor been tick there as well at times ,they destroy ya bait jigs .One mornin had every hook bitten off in two drops

Yeah 3v's still lurking in the background A
