headed to the pin sat morning with the gf and some mates Nils and Jazz, on Nils 26ft boat.

spent most of the day in whallies guttter (think that's what it's called) overall very quite with the gf catching 5 small fish and a stingray that was about 40 across.

then about 3 in the when Nils realised Jazz was standing on the front of the boat and with her rod bend after a few tense minutes with the fishing going over then under the anchor rope, before she managed to bring it near the boat, it turned out to be a 5ft shovel nosed shark, as we were anchored side on to the current the rod was passed back down the boat, before the fish could be draged up onto the shore, a few quick photo and it was released.

the gf and myself were dropped off at the boat ramp at around 4pm with Nils and Jazz returning to stay the night. Jazz went one better on Sunday catching something that was unstopperable, it ended up spolling her. she said she couldn't stop it so she had no idea what it was.

apart from the sunburns we had a great day out and Jazz is more then keen to go back for a rematch.
