    Flinders - 19/2/05

After staying up late last night installing my new VHF decided to head out to Flinders in search of a few spannos. Nice run across bay (except for the short sharp swell coming in) and had first lures in the drink by 5:30am. Conditions out there early on were a bit rugged while the run out tide was flowin past Flinders.

Not much happening at all until the tide run backed off a little and the first of the bait schools started ballin up on the Sth west corner. 9:30am the first of 3 barries came into the boat in the space of 30 mins. All were new additions to the Halco Qantas club lure at 2m - none hit my new gold 7m plus Halco

After that 30 mins nothing at all happening out there. Pulled stumps and headed into the bay in search of a spottie or two but the northern bay was absolutley lifeless - no birds, no bait schools. Back at Spinnaker by 1:30pm, boat cleaned, covered and put away by 3.00pm. Job done 8)

    few pics to follow

    Cheers

    Greg
