    Spotties on Sunday

Went out Sunday at around 5. Headed to Harrys (the car park) but left soon after and drove around looking for Spotties, a few schools but couldn't get close. Then headed back in past Harrys and a few big schools. My son got his first Spotty with a raider so he was a happy young bloke. Got a bit windy so headed back. A feed at least.

    Go the young fella's [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
If he's anything like my pair he'd be a happy little camper and biting at the bit to get out again!

    Re: Spotties on Sunday

Good on ya young fella .. Myself and Marty went out over the weekend and caught 6 spotties overall. Best size i have ever caught, only on 12 lb mono line. Today i went out again and ended up meeting another bloke in a 4.2m with 40 hp doing the same thing ,trying to round up these spotties. We ended up working as a team doing big round laps around the rouse channel. Tuna schools seemed to be on the boil and no spotties. Very quit day on the bay even when the tide was running out. ???
